need help

i have a 81 dodge d150. put new timing chain, distribeter, rotor, and spark plugs.turns over sonds like it wants to start but doesn't. any clues.

Sounds like the timing is retarded ,try advancing it a little to get it started then use a timing light to set it.

yea sounds like timing and I didnt see a new coil on your list on new stuff dont skimp there if you changed out everything else
