1999 Dodge diesel starts and dies

New fuel pump and filter, the problem is getting worst, before it would run for a while then it acted like I turned the key off. Now it starts and dies right away. Had a fuel pump go out a few years ago and kill my injector pump, this does not seam to be the same. Thank for any help.

It wasnt a Dodge, but the last Powerstroke I worked on did the same thing.. acted like someone reached over and turned the key off. It was the crankshaft position sensor.

I would check for air leak like stump said and then check the TPS. TPS is a common problem on the cummins.
