 | 1999 dodge diesel 2500 transmission problems I just bought this truck and now it is shifting funny. I just drained the trans and adjusted the bands last saturday. I filled it up with preimum fulid and drove it everyday this week and it shifted fine. Now just today it shifts good till it gets to the 45mph shift and then when I go anywhere from 45mph to around 52 mph the thing shifts back and forth every second. Has anyone has any problems like this with there trans? Thanks |

 | Wow thanks for the update.. a bad battery? I would have never even guessed that, if someone had more incite as to why, I would love to hear it.

| I also have another 99 2500 dodge truck, the same thing down to the mph. Try Lucas Transmission Fluid. Ihaven't had a problem with it again and it's been about 6 months.  |

| did you use the recommended fluid from dodge (ie atf +4 or +5?) those dodge trannys are picky, need to run the recommended oils in em to keep them happy |
