| dodge trans id It's in a 1988 Dodge Ram Charger. There is a date written on the trans & torque converter with a marker with 6/14/96. Hope this helps. Greg |

| If it is a 3 speed it is probably a 727a (or b) if overdrive then is is an a-500/a-518
