Lights flicker while truck is running and clicking behind dash

Lights work fine when trucks not running, but when its running they flicker both ext and int lights. Any ideas?

welcome, sounds like a bad ground, or a faulty relay behind the dash. I wouldn't know how to trace it though, others on here might.

What year?

Check fuses first. Then the relays. Grounds last as they are a pain in the butt.

Put a volt meter on the battery to eliminate a possible charging problem. regulator might be going

I agree with Leo. If you have the lights on when you engine is off, that is all good battery power. If you find it is your regulator or something else, don't forget to recharge the battery for it has definitely gotten much weaker by now.
