2001 daytime lights quit

2001, 4x4 ,1500, daytime running lights won't come on anymore when i start truck, is there a sensor or relay that goes bad??

Day time running lights SUCK!

the sensor on most cars is near the speakers. there may be a fuse that is blown.

the sensor is the little black thing that is on your passenger side speaker grill. it looks like a mini baby bottle nipple. ( i was just gonna say nipple but many people would get the wrong idea). what i noticed a few days ago is that the day time running lights arent always on. my wife was comin to pick me up and she was down the street and the lights were off but as she got a little closer the flicked on. i know they only come on when you first put he truck in drive. but then shut off if it is bright out. they are more for in the early morning and at dusk. mine is an 00 jimmy so the technology is probley the same.

I do not like DRL at all. I have Auto head lights

So when its dark my lights come on
