me and my brothers friend mess around all the time about our trucks..he has an 88 f-250 international 7.3 L motor says he gets 350 lbs/ft torque..i have a 5.2 L ram 1500 upgraded transmission with a FEW little extras that do help with torque mostly...power programmer is the best thing i got they are both 4X4 and he swears up and down if i hooked to him that he would mess my truck up all to **** and im not so sure if hes right! what do you think?

dodge has always had a tough diesel engine but rest of truck i not a fan of.. i say hook em up!!!!!!! post the results for us lol i not a ford fan but i owned o ps with 7.3 it was tough but not quite that much torque i don think

well my motor is only gas which gives him the for sure "i can beat you" talk but ive seen sum crazy stuff happen

i not gonna say ya cant beat him but a diesel engine is a powerful machine built for torque

depends. his truck might have "less" power but tuggin trucks is more about weight and traction...

if y'all are about equal power wise my money would be on the heavier truck...

i got some good **** tires so ittl help my traction but...what could i do to just beef up the torque to stomp him...or at least be more confident?

as far as i've known dodge's tend to have weak tranny's. so that could be an issue

true true... but i do have a brand new tranny....the stock went out and the previous truck owner put a new one in...not sure wut kind but it was expen$ive

if ur gonna pull aginst him get some sand in the back of the truck....between 500 and 1,000 pounds...itll help give u some extra traction...but more than likely if the 7.3 can get as good of traction as u ur screwed but give it a try
