Angry low oil pressure

I am working on a 99 dodge Ram 2500 with a 360 gas motor, replace intake plenum gasket and also front timing cover gasket (leaking antifreeze) put everything back together and changed oil and worked great for about 100 miles and now it shows low oil pressure on the dash and a lite comes on so I replaced the sending unit (thought maybe it got bumped or something) still the same thing. I put a mechanical pressure gage on, and it has 4.5 psi of pressure at idle. the specs call out for 6psi at idle

Any ideas where the oil pressure went? it there a relief valve that sticks?

When you rev the engine to 3000rpms it has 30+ psi

might have knocked a clod off when changing these items out that fell into the pan. how many miles does this block have on it?? might be time for a new pump and or pickup. this might be remedied with an oil flush.

Welcome to the club and howdy from TEXAS. Did you let any of the gasket material fall into the oil pan maybe it clogged up the oil pump screen it's not good fix it don't drive it like that.
