Intake Manifold

whats up guys i was just looking throught he web and i think im going to go with a new intake manifold for my truck... i have the 2001 5.2 L 4x4 and i want a good manifold that will give me the best performance boost and not lose any low end torque please let me know

Do you have any other mods done to the truck? An intake manifold on a stock truck will not give a very large boost.

I agree with merlin, If you are looking for performance you need to design a package that will give the desired results

i dont have too many mods at the moment but i am getting other stuff...new throttle body, etc... but what kind of package would you reccommend that would work the best for power

summit sells packages that will give you the best bang for your buck. people that know sit down and put these packages together to eliminate the guess work out of trying to buildup an engine. start there and look through their line.

Start with the little stuff and go from there; Air intake, Headers, high flow cats, Cat-back, rear gears, etc... Then start with the bigger stuff. Heads, cams, torque converters, etc... A throttle body and intake manifold might sound great, but with the stock heads, cam, and exhaust, you are wasting your money. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hey guys I did a quick search of the summit website and I couldn't find any kits (I didn't have much time) but I was hoping you could point me in the right direction on their site?

I saw the "My Gararge" option, does it have to do with that?
