| 300 horses can any of you guys give me a list of things i should get to have my truck at AROUND 300 HP at the rear..im not going to say give me a cheap list since i know that horsepower isnt cheap..so can you guys just hit me with a list of things that could add up to around 300 horses? im looking into a lunati voodoo cam.. anyone know much about them? im looking at some harland sharp Rockers and TB, and intake manifold and all that but besides that what else can i get? 2001 5.2L 1500 right now i have an AEM intake, hypertech max energy and thats really all ive got..im not sure the type of exaust..the previous owner put it on but its not stock i do believe thanks in advance for the help! |

| Where is your baseline? In other words, you have a goal and should be obtainable, but how much do you need to get there? The chassis dyno will be your friend. Spend the money and run your stuff on the dyno. Once you have a reference then you can adjust your tune, and start changing components. Only then will you know whether or not you are headed in the right direction. I cant tell you how many times performance mods were made that did not increase horsepower. Without valuable information that only the dyno can offer, you will be shooting in the dark. Dont waste money, spend it wisely, and know what you are workng with. |
