vent window moldings

Hey guys,

I am having problems with wind noise and whistling from the driver's vent window. I installed new moldings and it changed but is still there. Any ideas of what to do. I'm pretty sure I have the moldings installed correctly.

Have you attempted to tighten the lock for the vent? also when driving have you pushed on the top of the door frame to see if it changes, you may also need a slight door adjustment

I can run my hand along the vent window and change the sound so I'm pretty sure its from the window. I'm not sure how to tighten the lock. Do you know how?

don't rember what it has, got a pic. some of them had a torque washer in the handle, basically rebuild the locking assembly, did you lube the pivit point? or hinge

I had a piece of cardboard where the lock snapped tighter against the window or the part of the medal piece that's on the window on my 1957 F100 small vent window. Maybe the frame to the small window is bent out of shape not letting it seal right.

I remember cardboard wedges! back the they got loose cause someone tried to jimmy the vent to get in, then they put lock buttons on them
