Somebody please help with my 03 2500 dodge diesel

I have been a Mechanic for several years however im fairly new to diesels, i purchased this truck new. I had no problems until a month ago at 120000 miles, the truck at first wouldnt start unless i had it plugged in and then it wouldnt start without either i have an 07 dodge diesel that i have never had to plug in, i took it to several shops andeveryone had a diferent opinion, the injectors for this truck model are 3000 dollars so i replaced everything else first and last night i replaced the injectors. At first i bled the lines and it started right up i went around the block and it died, now im back where i started anybody have an idea please help, you can even call me at 254-541-6449 my name is John

It is possible there is a small hole before the lift pump, bledding off when not running and causing a hard start condition, may not show as a leak depending on location, if the pump has been changed previously the common place for the problem is the connection to the pump. This won`t throw a code.

What condition is your injector pump in? my buddies 01 lost its injector pump, and was running only on the lift pump.... It wouldn't hardly start, and ran rough.....

I beleive it is mounted rearward of the fuel filter, on the housing

First of all once you give a diesel either it's like cocaine it wants it! The safe thing to use is silicone spray. Have you put it on a scanner to check the systems, you didn't post the year and engine. I'm guessing you did change the glow plus and confirmed they are working?

Its an 03 5.9 and there are no glow plugs, i understand either isnt ideal to use but its my only transportation, any ideas as to what would cause it to not start now even with either after the injectors were changed

I'am not to sure about a dodge but on the ford powerstrokes they have to have alot of oil pressure to fire the injectors. I have come across a 98 3/4 dodge diesel that the main fuel line had a hole rubbed into it between the tank and frame rail.
