EGR problem.

OK guys my step daughter has a 2005 F/S small V/8 engine Dodge truck and the check engine light is coming on well the code is saying EGR valve has any body here replaced there EGR valve on there truck and is it hard to do? I haven't looked at it she just told me about it tonight.

not an 05. mine is 6 years older than his. EGR should not be a bad deal. nothing like the dizzy which is impossible to get to. remember to go with the same exact washers, size and thickness, when you stab the new one in.
are you sure that the EGR is bad?? might need to be cleaned or you might have a vac line stopped up causing that code. just because the code says it is the EGR does not mean that it is the EGR.
