| More AC questions I have a 97 1500 4x4 5.9L. My compressor cycles on/off every 10 - 15 seconds, but the gauges show a full charge. Air in the cab is warm at best, never a hint of cool??????? |

| what gauge? the one on the can you got from the parts store? those are a guesstimate at best. being a 97, i would take it to a shop and have it leak tested.

| sounds low to me too. anytime the low side hits a pressure of lower than 21 or 24, the low pressure switch kicks it out until it comes back up. does it blow super hot like it is not blowing through the evaporator coil?? |

| Have mechanic do a yellow dye test for leaks. You will need an honest mechanic as some will want to replace everything to make a quick buck. |
