my Odometer stoped working

I have a 90 dokata with the 3.9v6. The other day the odometer just stoped. The speedo still works fine. what do I look for or check?

ALso the little red bar in that moves when I shift if out of line. Ex when I am in park it says R. when I am in Rev it says D. How do I five that?

thanks

if the speedo works and the odometer doesnt, you have a slight problem with the cluster. might start looking for another one. a 90 model shouldnt be too big a problem to locate. as for the selector, break into that part of the column as this is nothing more than a couple of pieces of metal that tend to hangup. easy fix. problem is is getting to it.

it is still broken

I replaced my cluster with a used one, and on that one my miles do not get higher when I drive. Also now the speedodemer bounces more then it did.

I guess I will look for another used one

Lube the cable for the bouncing around. I wish my odometer would stop working on me but I keep getting older & older. LOL
