| had an old Dodge pick up given to me a few years back because it wouldn't start. Towed it home , found a new resistor in the glove box, replaced it and it fired right up. Turned out to be quite a work horse.

| Yea! I got the truck started. Problem turned out to be a bad pick-up coil which only cost $29.99 at Autozone. Part is located underneath the rotor in the distributor and is a little bit tricky to remove because the 2 phillips screws are hard to get at. Once the new pick-up coil was installed, the truck fired over immediately which is crazy because the gas was so old (3 years). The gas smelled like old 3-in-1 oil and even looked and felt oily. But hey, truck is now running. Thanks for the help forum.
