Help - '89 Dodge has been sitting for 3 years

Newbie to the forum here. I have a 1989 Dodge W150 with 318 V8 that has been sitting for 3 years. Am trying to get it started but haven't had luck. Motor cranks strong but no gas is spraying through throttle body injectors. I realize the gas is way old but shouldn't it at least spray though the injectiors? What's my next step - new fuel pump? FYI truck ran (not too well) when it was parked 3 years ago.

the injectors are probably clogged with the junk that comes from bad gas. best suggestion here is to disassemble the throttle body and rebuild/clean it. change out the filter and remove anything out of the tank. start fresh and eliminate fuel as a problem.

I'd start by doing an oil change, draining the fuel system and filling with fresh gas, changing all the filters (especially the fuel filter), changing the plugs and the distributor cap and rotor.

If you're not getting fuel spray from the TBI chances are it's clogged up from old gas and will need a good cleaning and soaking.

Edit to add: You beat me to it Brad. I guess I owe you a beer.

So I can completely disassemble the fuel injectors without any special tools? FYI on this truck there are two fuel injectors that spray into the throttle body. When they're working, you can see the gasoline spray.

I put on new spark plugs, new cap & rotor and still no start. Then I tested coil and got no spark out of the primary wire when held close to ground with engine cranking. Tested the ignition coil and got 2 Ohms across primary and 1000 Ohms across so coil is probably okay. Checked engine codes and got code #11 which says "No ignition reference signal detected during cranking (bad Hall effect) OR timing belt skipped on or more teeth: OR loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor. Where are these sensors located at?

do you have the 12 Volt power feed to the coil?? maybe check into the pickup in the dizzy since you have no spark or fuel.

Geez... I've not thought about one of those in almost twenty years.
I used to keep a spare in my glovebox on my old Plymouth.

MY Take ,heres one more thing that i would do before the oil change, Pull all Spark plugs ,Then put a couple Table spoons Of ATF in there ,let it soak atleast over nite,As Your Engine has set so Long , this will hopfully loosen the rings and Valves up so they will not cause you trouble...Then Crank it over with some of that still in there to force it to the cracks & Cranies...Test your Comp Before and then after treatment..then You will see whats up with the Mechs of engine..(Valves Rings )
