| ![]() here is one of the whole truck. mine is the 99 1/2 ton with solid front axle. i have a 3in lift on the truck, more or less. i have the 3in spacer on the coil spring up front and the different springs and overloads on the back which keeps the truck level instead of pointing at the ground. i have never rubbed the tires except for the 4 link on the front when hard turning but this is due to backspacing and not lift, as you might have guessed. does yours have the leather or cloth interior?? |

| My truck has cloth I absolutley loath leather interior in my vehicles. I have some camo seat covers . its the SLT package with a 8800 GVW rating, Dana 60 front and I am working on replacing the spicer 9 dana ) 60 rear. My ring and pinion was neglested by the PO and its sot. 115K miles on the truck. What gears do you have? Auto or stickshift? Mine has 4:10 . auto with a 360 in it. Here is a pic, I have cleaned up the headlights so threy are not tan anymore, but thats about it.

| mine is also the slt package but i do have the leather. cloth wouldnt last very long around me as i like to go off road every now and then plus i have a 4 year old. leather just wipes clean. i have 3.54 gears which i hope to change very soon as i know them 35's are reaking havoc on them. but that 360 will pull everything that i have thrown at it so far. does have the auto in it. dont know about the d60 in the front though. i am running a d44 and have extremely good luck with it. how did you do your headlights?? did it clean them up enough to validate doing it?? mine kinda have that off color appearance to them also and have considered doing something but havent figured exactly what yet. mine does have the hookups for a gooseneck. never used it and dont plan on it but the bar and hole is there for one along with the electrical plug. i have a 3/4 thick rubber mat that covers the bed so i really never notice that hole there. |

| I have heavy thick seat covers that are waterproof. so my seats stay protected. My truck is an auto for now, I cleaned up the headlights with fingernail polish adn water. use a cotton ball with the fingernail polish and rub it in circles. just dont let ti dry on there. As soon as you get a spot clean, Rinse and wipe adn do another spot. Took about 15 minutes to do both headlights. I thin used a light rubbing compound , followed by wax. Looks like new again.I have dana 60 front and rear with 4:10 gears and limited slip. new all terrain tires coming soon as mine are bald. I got the new tires in trade or i would have gone with mau terrain, Never know I may upgrade soon anyhow. My truck was bought new with a heavy duty towing packagem but I dont think it has ever pulled anything as the wiring harness plug end is still in the glovebox. Bed looks like new inside ( for now) Paid $4000 for it with a bad ring gear in the rear. Got a replacement rear end coming this friday though. It runs and drives, but howls due to a few beat up teeth on the gear.

| dont know how you feel about it, but i am currently running the nitto terras which really arent awesome in mud but they have gotten me out of some nasty stuff. the one reason i like them so much is that they have alomst no road noise associated with these type of tires. i would like to see how the mud grapplers do but havent found someone willing to take me for a ride. speaking of plug harnesses, i need to pickup a round plug to 4 prong flat plug for mine. both the plug in the bed for the goose and the one under the bumper for the bumper are the round style and every trailer around here is the flat plug. 4 grand is a nice price for that. less than what i paid for mine but it did come with new tires and the suspension already done. let me know when you get done with the gears in yours. i want to replace mine with 4:10s and maybe add a detroit to the back. theres a grand right there. would love to have an air locker or something like that in the front but hard to justify that cost being my rig never gets that far down. if i cant do it with 3 wheels, maybe i dont need to be there. |

| no kidding semo. this is why i am currently looking for a rim to fit. i despise walking. gmc, as much as i do like to have her clean, it never last more than a day or two. filthy vehicles are common place out here due to sand and mud everywhere and often times, i just get an itch to head out to the mud hole. the thought did cross my mind to go and dirty it up real good and post those pics up for yalls entertainment. wish i could take credit for the lift but i cant. truck came with that which was a good selling point from me, especially when i fould out how the lift was done. |
