| noise from rear end only at a low speed turn Hey gang, 2000 Dodge 1500 4wd. I get a whinning noise from the rear only when turning left or right at maybe 5mph, usually from a stop. | you may have damadged spider gears in the differential, or a seizing up spider on the pin, what is the condition of your rear diff oil? |

| thanks for the reply. just bought it used so i dont know. would changing the fluid be a waste of time? |

| it would if the spiders are already gone. take that little plastic/rubber cap off of the back of the pumpkin and see whats in there. |
