'04 2500 marker lights inop

I have a '04 dodge 2500-here's my problem-my marker lights just suddenly quit. Brake lights and signals operate correctly. Fuses and relays ch'ed good-I've seen some posts on the same problem-but never got an answer. Please someone help me with this-I'm a mechanic but I work on semi's. I removed the grounds from my batt's in order to "reset" the system-saw it in a post-no good. If anyone knows anything- please let me know.

Are your parking lights working? They should be part of the same circuit. If they are, and the markers are still out, look for where the markers branch off. Should be close to the headlight switch. If the parking lights are out too, pull the fuse for them and swap it with a known good fuse. If they're still out it's probably a loose connection on the headlight switch, or a bad switch.

Welcome to the forum jason.
Guessing Ram not Sprinter.

Random thought not because I think it's the problem:
That year had a problem with roof lights leaking because no gasket.

Pull park lamp relay and check with a voltmeter/testlite that you have
hot at two of contacts. This is the common point for left and right markers.
Supplied by fuse#15-50A. To lights is fed through two fuses so not likely bad.
If hots are at relay socket, jump with 20A-fused-jumper socket #30 to #87.
aka the "load side" of relay.
If lights come on, either relay is bad or you're looking for why Front Control Mod isn't doing that.
FCM should be sending a ground signal to trigger markers "on"

If you're only used to the older diff wires for head and park lites style switch
you will probably find this annoying. This truck, it's the same wire.
You did not say the headlights don't work, so I'm guessing they do.
What that does is enormously raise the chances that unless you found
the problem by relay or fuse above, or a poorly connected harness,
(which I highly doubt the harness), you have a bad headlite sw.
If you think so you should be able to test before buying if you
have a good ohm meter (mech right?). When disconnected, you
should be able to get different reads from flipping fog, park and hdlite.
Cluster recognizes different resistances of each of the combos.

.

We can always use another mech around here,
but why's it always gotta be big rigs ?

big rigs have all the problems. show me a truck that doesnt seep fluids, leak a little air, or never has a light out, and ill show you one that hasnt left the showroom floor.

big rigs also have all the space. I never stood inside the tire to change oil on my chev like I have with an Intl.
