Help with Wheels please

I just bought an 09 Dodge Ram 5500 with 10 lug 19.5 wheels and am new to the dually scene.
I want to add Big Rig 22.5 wheels and possibly Super Singles to the rear. The problem is that I'm not sure if the ones I'm seeing on the net are for rigs or if they will fit my truck. Most of the sites I've seen that sell these types of wheels and tires have an 8 to 10 lug adapter with their packages. but I'm not sure if these adapter change the size to that of a rig or to the size of my truck. Someone please help.

any particular reason for the super singles?? i have always been curious as to why people would want these whether it be for looks or functionality.

One, I like the look and Two, I travel all over the US for my job and from what I've been told they will get me better fuel mileage. So I guess both looks and functionality.

didnt know that about the fuel mileage. keep this in mind though, when tread comes off that bad boy, it will do some terrible damage. with dual wheels, also, one can go out and still be limped to the next tire place fairly easily.
wish i could tell you something on the adapters but ive never used them.

Thanks for the reply and the info.

One thing though is that I have a utility bed so it should not do to much damage either way. Plus I pull a 14ft trailer behind me so I was planning on getting either a third Super Single as a spare or just add a second regular.

dont ever say that. a tread coming apart can tear up more than one could imagine. been there, seen that. i seen the bottom of a trailer torn up by one and start spilling out the vegetable located inside. fortunately, it didnt take out the tailboard.

Ok, thanks. I haven't had much experience with a dually so any info is much appreciated.
