| Why wouldn't you look at year model? Just cuz its the same diff doesn't mean the hubs are the same. It may be splined differanty, it could be a bigger diamter, whatever the case may be.

| thats true too. but usually when i buy stuff, i have measurements in hand as the possibility that it has been updated is still there. havent we already decided that the engine wasnt stock for the truck?? |

| yes the engine is not stock...is there a number on the differential that i could look up to see what it is or do i find out using the VIN? how would i go about that? its just a regular dana 44 ain't it? |

| it has the automatic hubs on it...wouldn't i have to do some kind of conversion kit? |
