Unhappy Hubs

i'm looking for a set of locking hubs for a '79 Dodge Warlock (W150) 4x4 but Warn don't make no hubs for Dodge...that broke my heart...any suggestions on good hubs other than Warn?

Ahhhh, isn't that shame. Poor Dodge. Hmmm, but that is stragne !!! I'd have more than a broken heart. I'd be pretty dang mad. Warn is supposed to be the leader in aftermarket hubs. I am just now kinda learning some stuff about straight axle 4x4's and hubs, so I sure won't be the expert you'll be looking for. I am just wondering if maybe you need to look a little harder, or is it possible there are differant models of hubs and the ones you are looking at don't have a Dodge application? Really, I'd find it hard to believe and Warn is missing the boat if they don't make them for a Dodge. One thing about Dodge, they obviously realize they can't make an axles so they usually use Dana diffentials, and that is all the more reason to believe there would have to be a Warn product.

I just went to another site that has the same hubs for $75 instead of $122 and they say they DO NOT fit. So that site must wrong. Maybe for the $50 rip-off, they make them fit. Doubtful, so they not only rip you off, they also give wrong info.

Premium Manual Hub Kit

Check these differant models of Warn Hubs. There is differant spline counts etc. I'd imagine one of these models has to fit your truck. Once you find the right part #, then I would start shopping price with that model #.

Yeah, I was checking them out pretty good. I am going to need to be getting me some too for my 85 K10 so I was checking both Dodge and GM trying ot learn the differacne. Believe it or not, Dodge and Chevy, or should I say, Chevy and Dodge share some of the same parts although probably somewhat differant on 4x4's. Like NP transfer cases, and Dana axles on some models. Otherwise GM uses their own corporate axles.

stop looking at years and models. your front axle came on alot more models than just that year model dodge. identify you front axle and compute that in there and should have better luck in locating something.
