Throttle body cleaner

What do you recommend to clean the throttle body for a 98 Dodge
Ram 1500 ?

Maybe because of carbon built up. I use Seafoam I just add it to my gas tank but I have used it by having the brake booster vacuum line suck some up. You-Tube shows one how to do it.

I tried that and it works good. It woke my 95 GMC up. It was a night and day difference. I always run a can in my gas tank every year. But a buddy of mine showed me that trick by letting the brake booster line suck it up.

if it is truly gummed up , you need to take it off and take all components off and use throttle body cleaner on it .

shd

All that seafoam and any other combustion chamber cleaner does is clean the carbon off the valve and some what cleans the intake runners. True it does clean the carbon off, gives a little back but the only true way as mentioned is to tear down and clean.
