 | Dodge transmission swap Hi! Recently purchased a 1995 Jeep GC with 318cc (5.2L). Having TC problems and research shows them to be an ongoing problem. Have 2 other 4WD vehicles (1995 Cherokee and 1972 Scout II). The GC is for my wife to drive and needs to be reliable. Have access to a transmission from a '93 Dodge van with the same 318cc (5.2L) engine. Does anyone know if it is compatable? I know that a jeep 249 TC to jeep 242 TC swap can be done, but I prefer the 2WD if possible. Last edited by 4greenes; 12-11-2005 at 07:44 AM. Reason: add more info |
