Angry "06" cold battery warning

I have an "06" 3500 w/ cummins. The service engine light came on and the dealer said it is because the battery got cold.
First of all, I would like to know what good that information does to anybody.
Second of all I would like to know if Dodge is going to come up with a fix for this issue or not.

I called the dealer and asked if they had a fix yet. He said they did for the 6-speed, but not for the automatics. Like the battery knows whether it is turning over an automatic or a 6-speed.

i've seen a few dodges i would rather pee on than drive but peeing on the battery makes no sense and if somebody saw you doing that i think they would avoid contact with you or call a hospital. i dont think the warmth would make any more difference than after you ran the truck for a few minutes and warmed it that way but hey whatever floats your boat.

Yeah I'd have to agree with Peeing on the battery.

Is it really coming down to such stupid electronics in these new vehicles that just causes the owners nothing but grief.
Man I am so glad I own the old carberated models and don't have near as many problems.
Its like my old 68 Plymouth Valiant I just sold. 6 Parts to the whole thing under the hood. Battery, Alternator, Starter, Selenoid, Engine and Transmission. I could work on it under the hood and have a picnic under the hood at the same time there was so much. 650 thousand miles on it and still purrerd like a kitten to the day we got rid of it. Try that with one of these new electronic POS nightmares they make.
