| moisture on dipstick hey all, i have a 96 dodge truck that builds up moisture on the dipstick and the tube, there is no water or coolant in the crank oil when drained. but the white froth on the dipstick is there. checked compression in cylinders and they are all good, and none are the same. just wondering if any one else has seen this before. |

| If an engine is subject to changes in temp while not running, condensation can build a little inside the engine. Thats why in the winter you should not have your car parked in a unheated garage for overnight sort of thing and the next day go and turn the heat on and work on your car. Also, you might not be able to tell if the engine is leaking water internally if its minimal, thats why when bradrhale put the stop leak in it stopped, because it barred the leak in one of the gaskets. |
