93 dakota 3.9 stalling

Hello everyone,
I just bought a 93 Dakota with a 3.9, automatic, MPI. Problem is hard starting and stalling in gear when at operating temp. It starts fine when cold and goes in gear with no problems. If I need to get somewhere I must keep the throttle open a little to keep it running. No check engine light. Speedo and odometer dont work. Any suggestions? Maybe an EGR or o2 sensor?

After many phone calls and searching the web, I decided to replace the 2 wire coolant temp sensor (ECM). The truck started right up and runs and drives great. The original sensor had deteriorated and the plastic broke at the base. And for anyone who may need to replace this sensor in the future, it is located in the front center of the intake manifold-UNDER the loom of wire. Took me a while to find it. I pulled the A/C compressor off which gave me much more to work.
Also adjusted the speedo gear mesh so now the speedo, odometer, and overdrive are working.
