Hydraulic Clutch Problems

Hi Guys, I have a 1995 Dodge 2500, Cummins Turbo that has suddenly developed a leak in the hgydraulic line that operates the hydraulic clutch. At idle, the leak pumps out about a quart of fluid in 10 minutes. It appears that the line rubbed against the fender housing and rubbed a hole. The dealer is telling me that this is a dealer only item, a closed system, available only from them. The local hydraulic man says that he cannot repair the line because it is a hard plastic composition and conpressions will not work. The dealer wants an obscene dollar for the entire assembly.....HELP ???

Catstorman,
Have you looked into possibly getting one from a salvage yard? I just had to replace my radio and got it for 25.00 at a salvage yard.

like bonnor and jacker1 said go to the junk yard and get one. then after you get one heres a little trick to do to the new one. after you install the new one look where the old one was rubbing get a rubber hose and cut it the lengh you need to cover that spot and then cut it down the middle to rap it around you new hose so that it can not rub a hole in your new hose. and zippy tie it to your hose so it doesn't move. i have done that quit a few times to save me from haveing to redo it all over again.
