| That is a ton of work to do. Might consider selling what you have, and buying a Dodge truck with the 5.9L already in it. Also not too sure how that 1/2 ton frame and rear axle would hold up under the added torque of the oil burner. Fuel management, and a new ECM would be a nightmare to program. |

| well i have the frame taken care of and the axles are swapped out of a 99'3500 because the old ones were....well old and the front section got the dodge steering sector sickness, and i just got sick of trying new **** to get the truck to drive straight. And a good friend of mine gave me a totalled 01' 2500 with a good 5.9ic that has all the bells and wistles in it that i installed for him shortly before his now x-wife rolled it down the hoghway at 80 with a 7x17' gooseneck fetherlight. .......5.9's got twin b2's, water meth kit, JD 404 worked over pump, a different head that i cant discuss. BAHF, lp inject, 80psi popper and garden hose injectors. the problem with it is that u can hold a coffee can at the exhaust tip when its warming up in the winter and fill it up with raw fuel in less than 5 mins. |
