For filler plugs, and stubborn bolts, I use a little heat and wax from a candle. I heat the area, just hot enough to melt the wax, then I touch the candle to the threads of the item I wanna remove. The wax will be sucked into the threads, and act as a lubricant from the inside. Have had great sucess with this method. Easy on the plug / bolt, and especially the knuckles.
Welcome to the Forum by the way.

Thank you so much for the info. I am trying to rebuild a 1984 Dodge that I have owned since new. I am sure I will be coming back for more info. tm
