A/C shuts down when in 4WD-High

I have a 2003 F350 with shift on the fly 4WD. When I shift into 4-High the A/C quits blowing out of the vents. You can still hear it down in the dash. Would this have something to do with the 4WD not functioning properly? Please advise.

You have a vacuum leak somewhere. More than likely it is in one of the hubs or on of the vacuum lines that run to the hubs.

yes and no. If you leave the hubs in auto it will not work with a leak. If you lock the hubs it will work no problem.
