nah camino. I know there is the saying no replacement for displacement, but the 7.3 has a prehistoric fuel system compared to the 6.4. yes the 6.4 is smaller but stock to stock has tons more power

stock 7.3 235hp, 400 ft lbs +/- at the flywheel ( and this was the later 7.3's 99.5 through 2003 and the autos actually had less power (215 hp)

stock 6.4 325hp, 700 ft lbs +/- at the flywheel

My truck the way it sits now with leaking injector orings and all my other mods put down 260/500 at the wheels on a dyno.

brand new 6.4 f-250 put down 274/630 at the wheels completely bone stock.

They are some bad mammer jammers right out of the box and in a year or so when people start running out of warranty we are really going to see their potential!

wow thats a nice truck. couple questions:

does it get better mileage than ur 7.3?

would you recomend it over the 7.3?

Mileage as of now is not better than the 7.3.. Would I recommend it. I'm not sure. Still have to break this one in and see what happens.

thats kinda bad. i mean, my box truck gets around 10 on a bad day, and its got a 351.
