Now excuse my ignorance But what do you do about the horizontal pipe showing in the bed, do you cover it in some way to at least prevent anything your hauling from getting burned?

This is what the truck looks like now. Ny toolbox hides the pipe and prevents anything from coming in contact with the pipe.

as for the flappers I just cant see myself putting those things on there. I'll deal with the buckets (and with as much rain as we normally get i'll probably never use them.)
