| ehh, def a possibility that you overpayed, my brother's truck a 2000 silverado (my avatar) had 50k miles on it when he bought, had a 5.3 v8 with hypertech programmer, rims, had power windows and locks, alarm system and he ony paid 9k for it, now im not all that sure where you live but the only real difference is the year, and the fact that you see alot more people wearing bow-tie's on their necks then big blue ovals

| That sucks that I overpaid.... The Kelly's Bluebook value is $13.7k so I thought I was getting a good deal... I still like it though. I'm just not a bargain shopper I guess |

| You didn't over pay. You can't compare Chevys to Fords or apples to oranges. The price you payed is probably about right. You coulda shopped around for awhile to save a little, but if you love the truck then you did the right thing by picking it up when you did. As far as the Chevy with all of the doo-dads, once a vehicle is personalized it makes it harder to sell. You can't really tack on the cost of aftermarked add ons. That's why your brother got it for a good price. You need to find the right person with the same taste. How far did the seller come down from his original asking price? If it was for sale for awhile you'll never know what he started out at. Just my 2 cents... |
