| Many later model cross flow radiators will fit right in and work just fine. Since the vehicle has been modified already, you reaaly do not need a radiator for a 66 ford, you need a radiator that will fit. Measure the opening, and the mounting points and find one in a yard, or buy a brand new aluminum one from companies like Jegs, or Summitt. These radiators (aluminum) start at around $200.00 and are good for engines up to 600 hP's., and cool better than a conventional brass and copper radiator. I use a Jegs unit for my Ford (541 Cubic inches) and it stays cool on the street, works just fine. |
