How do i get the best sound?

I have a 83 F150, with a fully rebuilt 351w, and bored 30 over, i was just wondering what the best exhast system is that i could put on this truck to get the most power and best sound posible. Any ideas?

Thats hard to say with the little bit of information that you provided. It would be nice to know how that motor was set up, however you just can't go wrong with dual 3inch exhaust pipe and a set of 40 series delta flow flowmasters. Very nice agressive flowmaster sound outside, and not as much interior noise inside. My 2 cents.

Thanks man, what do you wanna know about the engine and how its set up, it has a 500 lift cam, and a 600 holly, its bored out 30 over, and i got some shorty pony headers on it from a lightning, the engine has been rebuilt completely and everything in it is new, if you wanna know any more please ask. Im thinkin about just puttin some original 40 series flows.

If i were you i would go with the 3 inch pipes and some Flomaster Delte Force 40 Series. I have them on my 67 fastback and my 99 250, they sound awsom. Are you planing on doing single or dual exaust?
