Ford Excursion 2000 tire recommendations

I'm driving a 2000 Ford Excursion Ltd, 2wd and need new tires. I do mostly city driving during the year with long trips pulling a trailer in the summer. We live in snow country. I'm having a hard time finding a good recommendation for a good tire. I would love some assistance with this. Thanks!

The Bridgestone Dueler APT's are decent, and less expensive then most. But iof you want a good recomendation on a great street tire, and an awesome winter tire, I still hold that you go with the Pirelli Scorpion ATR's.... they will grip to ANYTHING, and they are quiet on the road. A little more pricy, but worth the money in my opinion. they are a soft rubber, and the best you will get is probably 50,000 miles, but you will appreciate them.

my wife had bridgestone dualers(sp) on her truck when i met her 3 years ago. shes the first owner and the tires lasted 110000 miles. whatever tire you buy get 8ply or better they last a lot longer than 6ply and will hold the weight of youre trailer better.
