ERG Valve

I have a 94 Ford F150 300i6. I know where my ERG is, I know that it is the reason my Chk Engine light is on.

I wanna know, can I just clean it, or do I have to replace it. I'm trying to sell the truck (with as little wrong as possible). I was told on another forum, "you can just clean it" They didn't specify how, or with what..

Thanks

Dude seriously... EGR valve for that truck is only like 13 bucks..... worth the fix since seafoam and cleaners will run close to the same......

I dont want to put seafoam into an engine that is over 200,000 miles. Alot of that crude is what is keeping the oil in.

I'll check Napa, but LordCo told me $80cdn to replace the ERG. I'm not aloud in the US anymore, so I pay a **** of alot more for auto parts.

Ummm.... okay, I will not ask why not, but the internet is world wide, perhaps ordering from autozone.com or advanceauto.com might work. Just a thought. I replaced mine on my B3000 and it was only 14 bucks for the part... might be worth it

PartsAmerica ERG for 1994 Ford F150

Over $90 US for my F150's ERG. It's still cheaper to buy Canadian, and Autozone isn't any cheaper.

Hehehe,

This is the only thing left on the Engine for the Ford that needs to be replaced.

I have 2 trucks, both are in various states of disrepair. The Ford is a little better than the Mazda, the Ford is an Auto trans, the Mazda is Stick: Result, Mazda gets better gas mileage. Ford gets parked this weekend, tags removed.

Also, I said right off the get go this
