C6

my C6 can drive but it will not go into park, neutral, or reverse, its acts like its in drive in all 6 gears, P,N,R,D,2,1.

anybody have a problem like this?

Does the shifter feel like it is moving too easy. If I am not mistake the shift linkage is held on the trans by a plastic clip. That or the nut on the stud going to the park nuetral swith came loose. That is about all I can come up with. Tom

yeah, sounds like the lever is moving, but the linkage is not connected.... I would start there.... poschevy88 is on the right track...

Corvette special addition, the C6 was a limited production vehicle.... at least I think that is what he was talking about.

Oh yeah... good point.... then since I try to know as little as possible about fords... I have no idea.... Gues we will have to wait for the OP

C6 trannys were made to handle more power and torque from the bigger motors

I took it to AAMCO, the local transmission shop, and they are dropping the transmission tomorrow morning but most likely my problem is the clutch disks were fused together somehow and a fix and rebuild kit including labor and a warranty is only 600 bucks
