F350 Electric Door Locks

I have a 2002 F350 with electric door lock problems. The remote key will not work (yes I need to check the battery). When pushing on the electric door locks themselves they also will not work. However, if I push on them 10 to 20 times very fast then they will lock or unlock. I have replaced the main switch on the driver’s side. This problem is really bugging me. What should I do next?

check the female connector end that the switch plugs into and make sure the metal inside isnt corroded if it is clean and put diaelectric grease everwhere the switch and the connector make a connection dont be affraid to get genours with the diaelectric grease electrical connecions love that stuff

Thanks for the info. Is there a brand name for this diaelectric grease? What do I ask for?

if I remember right you are in Canada so permatex is probably going to be your best bet they sell that everywhere.

I did spell it wrong though it's Dielectric grease and it's all pretty much the same no matter the name brand.

you might need to repair the actuators. I just did this to mine a few weeks ago, because they were getting really sluggish or not working at all

check this out.

The first one is the biggest pain but after that they all start to go faster. I fixed all 4 of mine (crew cab) in about 2 hours...
