Are the radiator supports the same on gas and diesel powered 96’s.

I am trying to verify some information I received about the radiator supports on the 92 through 98 body style. I am working with a 96 gas powered F250. I need to know if the radiator support in that gas powered 250 is different from its 7.3 counterpart. I am going to perform a diesel conversion on my wife’s’ truck when I return home and I would like to know if I should start looking for a good radiator support.

I was told becaue the radiator is so much larger and the need for two batteries, Ford used a different support. I have not been able to confirm it though.

I'm not sure but if they are the same it would have to be a truck that had a big block...

I just had several people from deisel site tell me they are different. But, no one has presented part numbers are any other kind of proof. I cannot locate any part numbers myself, so I am stuck until I can find some solid proof.

Well, I was hoping to find the information on the internet. I cannot call a dealer from here.

However, I'll see if my wife can take care of that.
