2 feet? for a second i thought peterbilt made this thread.

what do you plan on running through, a pond?
anything that big would require major fabrication skills to keep it safe.

i would suggest that you try to find a good set of non-nosebleed leaf springs and add some extra horsepower to get those wheels through the mud.
having the tallest truck in the world will not get you through the mud if you don't have the power to turn those big tires.

if you are trying to get ground clearance, and you want 2 more feet then a ten ich lift with 39.5 inch swampers would give that to you. I would not underestimate the size of a lift. I mean this truck only has 10" of lift and would make a great mudder....

or are you trying to accomplish something like this?

i would love to have that first truck, my brother had one like that but with 35's.

the second one is just nose bleed stupid. i can't imagine turning that thing with out it flopping on it's side.

look at that body roll, they'd have to replace the seats if i was in there when they took that pic. i love the "blinkers and lights" to make it street legal.

All kidding aside, the desire for a generous amount of lift is, or should be based on tire size. The concern here is that the 1/2 ton truck will have drivetrain limits.
Small Dana front axle, and that 9 inch rear axle is not gonna cut the mustard when the going gets tough.
2 feet of lift? Really? how much tire do you intend to run?

my budget is low i dont want to have a lot of money into a truck that will be ran through a pond or small lake..and if it sinks i dont want all my money going down the toilet.

What would it take to do this?????
i already have the truck stock and running..and i dont care if its street legal or pretty and chrome...
