| i would go with the DYNOMAX BLOCK HUGGER BLACKJACK HEADER, you can find them for all Ford Ranger years especially the 4.0.

| Are you getting the headers purely for looks/sound? If so, you're not going to see much improvement, and it being an 06, the stock headers should still be good for quite a long time. Headers won't add a whole lot of power, nor gas mileage. Lariat did suggest a good brand, though. I've been eying those myself, as my headers are pretty much rusted out. Oh, and as far as replacing the headers, YES, IT'S A PAIN IN THE ***! The new 4.0 is stuffed in those trucks. If you have access to a lift, you're golden. ****, getting to my passenger side header in my truck is going to be a job.

| Yeah Jimmeh, those block huggers are truly that "block huggers" for that tight compartment.

| I was thinking about putting headers on my truck but the exhaust manifold does just about the same as headers. It really depends on why you want them. Headers are usually used for horsepower and hot rods. |

| Unless you do other mods to the truck along with the headers, you're not going to see much improvement. Headers are basically really expensive eye candy for Rangers.

| I heard of sticking with shorty headers. Again due to limited space. I contimplated it but I'm going to keep my 07 stock and put money into my Focus and 68 F250
