| well... what do you think you may want for it? OOOO and is it 2wd or 4wd? I assume 2wd, but that makes a difference in deciding worth or value.

| for a 2wd... 800 bucks sounds about right, maybe more if you sell it right. Talking it up. I would list it for 1200, be willing to take 800, but you would probably sell it for 1000... make sense?

| That's the best way to get what you want for anything. Always mark up the price a couple of hundred

| Regardless of my user name, I am a giant "dentside" fan. The dentside bodystyle is a 73 to 79 F series truck. I buy and sell these all if the time. I cant get enough of these trucks, and wish I could get just about every one I see. Fortunately for me, folks are getting gun shy about mileage, and want to seel thier old iron. This has an effect on value, and for me, it works to my advantage. You might be about right on the value of your truck, but a good short bed brings around 500 bucks by itself. You also have a pretty desireable 9 inch rear axle, and if it really has a Limited slip (not posi, posi traction was a GM term, and you will really upset a ford guy with that,,,,,really). That 351M is not very desireable, but does share the same bellhousing as a 385 series engine. The 385 series is a 429 / 460 engine, and with a set lincoln exhaust manifolds, and some motor mounts, a 460 will bolt right in. Talk about a blast. Even a stock 460 in these short trucks are a real handfull, and will blow most "ricers" right off of the street. Now thats funny! Will give fairly stock mustangs and camaro's a run for thier money too. This combo can earn some respect in a hurry! Anyway, this is a truck that I recently purchased. This is a 75 F250 with a junky low pinion D44HD front end, D60 rear axle, but has a 460, with a 4 speed, and a NP 205 t-case. This has functional air conditioning, and those tires came with it. In fact, everything you see, is exactly how I bought this thing. Oh yeah, ot cost me 1200 bucks. I drove it home! Maybe if gas gets to 5.00 bucks a gallon, I moght be able to score more of these great pices of old iron! Man I love these trucks. ![]() Excuse me. I did change the grille. I love the 78/9 grilles. Every one of my 73-9 F series trucks, and bronco's has a 79 grille. |

| About 2 years ago I picked up a 68 F250 2wd 360 3speed manual. From CA and you can eat off the underside of it. dented from being used. Needed tires and some interior prettying. I got it for $1000 and drove it home. $800-$1000 sounds reasonable
