2 or 4wd? the price is gonna be reflected in the ride quality. just throwin that out there, (assuming your talking about suspension lift) body lift will be much cheaper but they serve no real purpose other than looks and fit a little bigger tire, you dont gain any ground clearance from a body lift. but it just depends on what your wanting to do. you've come to the right place to find out though.

i have discovered that the pre 96 year pull the best with no bigger than 33s..and a three inch body can cover that.three inches wont cause any problems.

is this a power issue or a handeling issue? I am not up 100% on FORD product, but I have seen older then 96 F150's running much larger the 33's...... I am just curious, always worthwhile to have a head full of useless facts...LOL

you just want to lift a little for looks? go with a body lift.... if youre looking for some extra ground clearance via the lift. go with a suspenion lift. theres many options here. skyjacker, superlift, fabtech, etc.
