| Extra wiring under the hood??? on my 06 F250 there is a group of 4 wires right up at the firewall on the driver side, red, white, blue, and black. i was curious to know what these were for, my first thought was brake controller but the truck has an integrated brake controller. im just kinda stumped on it. thanks |

| They are spare wires that pass through the firewall. These wires canbe used for your upfitter switches or whatever you want. They are not connected to anything on either end of the firewall. You can access them just above the master cylinder and just behind the dash inside of the cab. These were left for you to make accessory wiring simple and prevent you from having to make additional holes in the firewall. Thats all they are. |
