1997 F350 blowing fues

I have a F350 1997 diesel, it is blowing 30 amp fuse for glow plugs, does this also cut off fuel pump?

I do not believe so. The fuel pump on your truck is still mechanical. Should not be affected by any fuses. if it keeps blowing the fuse for the glow plug circuit it could be one of a few things. The glow plug relay, a burnt connector at the valve cover, or shot glow plugs..

It does but they did not start putting them on until 99.5.

I don't know for sure if that is the same circut as the fuel bowl heater or not. You can try to unplug the fuel bowl heater and see if it continues. It is located on the side of the fuel bowl. Looking at the motor from the front, on the right side of the fuel bowl there is a single wire connector. unplug that and see if it still blows fuses.

here is a pic. it is located just behind the "o" where the pic is labeled fuel regulat"o"r
