Need Help On a 1999 F250..Thanks!

Here's the deal. I have a chance to purchase a used 1999 F250 super duty. According to the seller, this does have the towing package. Now I know there is a little more to a towing package other than the class three hitch bolted to the frame. My question is..What else can I do to verify, or what else can I look for to make sure this does have the package? I will also add that this has the 5.4 motor, and there is brake controller mounted on the lower right part of the dash. I read somewhere , where Ford did install brake controllers, but not sure if this is an OE or and after market that the seller has added...BUT with the Hitch and the controller one would believe that it did come with the package...But I've learned not to trust everyone, all the time..thanks for any advice..John

Look for a factory tranny cooler, that would be a good clue, also look at the option code for that truck. Not sure but that may be in the glove box.
