Welcome to the site: This answer requires a little more info. What year is the truck. 99-04 trucks have leaf springs up front, and will require slightly different lifts to accomodate the same size tires. 08 and current trucks can fit 35's without much trouble. Much also has to do with the width of the tire with the wheels you intend to run. Are you towing a 5-er? or is this a bumper mount type trailer?

You can run any tire combo you want. You are haulin small loads. For your 35" tires you can consider either a 4 or 6 inch system Much will depend on how aggressive you are off road. What I mean is that if you are off road a bunch the 6" system is probably a better choice. You could rub the fenders at full suspension compression with 35" tires. Now if you are not to aggressive off road, then you can get away with the 4" system Icon (previously Donahoe racing) recommends either configuration for this size tire. You are not pulling a bunch of weight so either will do. Keep in mind that 6 inches is reaching the limits of the front driveshaft length, and you will either have to change or modify the brake lines. They start to get a little bit short at the 6 inch mark.

4" lift is it. I am so glad I did not go 6.5 this would put me at mall cruser status. after all a desiel 4 door full size is no offroader unless it is freeway offroading. its just to big for serious offroading. but the lift is perfect. no one smart would go any higher. it looks nice. so it will work great it can tow my rock and mud machine around in style. thanks for all the help.
